Faten Abil Mona has over 15 years’ experience as an educator, department leader and education specialist who brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Arabic language education to GFA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Arabic literature and Language from The Lebanese University as well as a specialised teaching qualification (ATHE).
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a formidable ability to lead, develop, motivate, and evaluate staff, ensuring high standards of teaching are achieved and maintained. Her role as an education specialist has allowed her to excel in creating effective learning strategies through both instructor-led and web-based modules, adhering to adult learning methodologies.
Faten has previously supported schools with inspection preparation, evaluating teaching and learning practices, providing detailed feedback and reports, leading to significant improvement in all Arabic departments. Her contributions as a PgCTL teacher trainer has not only enhanced teachers' pedagogical knowledge and skills but also fostered their professional growth, resulting in a positive impact on student learning outcomes.
Her evaluations consistently highlight her strengths in creative thinking, problem-solving, long-range planning, attention to detail, and effective communication with diverse populations. She thrives on the challenges of education and is passionate about collaborating with teachers, parents, and students to create meaningful educational experiences.
